Heart Inchies

I am on time this week! Yay!!Well done me :-)

I have made some little Heart Inchies. I am NOT saying it has been easy but it has been enjoyable. STILL learning! My Darling Anthropologist daughter would say, " Mum ! Lower primates would learn faster!" Ah, well, c'est la vie.

Anyway, here they are in all of their colourful glory. Six Heart Inchies..................

With Glowing hearts...

And a tangled heart......

And , alas, a broken heart :-(

And who knows what THIS heart is??

And a troubled heart. It is beating irregularly!!

And lastly, the chain of hearts that is Family.

May Peace and Joy and Love be in YOUR hearts.
These are all done on watercolour paper with Pigma Micron pens and then painted with Caran d"Ache soluble Wax pastels used as watercolours. What a fun medium! What glorious colours . Enjoy.

I am posting this on everyinchiemonday2012.blogspot.com You will find lots more there too.

  1. Great heart inchies. I like that tangled heart and of course, the chain of hearts.

  2. I've been looking at wax pastels but I already have so much art stuff in my house that I don't use, I'm reluctant to invest on something new.

These hearts are wonderful. And you tell 'Ann Thropologist' that there are no recorded instances of lower primates managing to blog, so you're a bit ahead of them! :)

  3. These are great! I love the tangled and the troubled heart!

  4. I love all your heart inchies, but especially the tangled one - not easy to do on an inch!!

  5. Good for you! I hit a mental block. The tangled one is really good and the troubled heart.

  6. Hi Carolynn, I selected your blog among 12 or 15 unread ones. - Just to see what you made, while DH ist looking for addresses in the internet still at McDos - your hearts arwe beautiful. I love very much the doodle one - because I am doodling also lately - hm it is the tangled one.

  7. What fun those hearts are!

  8. Hi, Carolynn. Very fun inchies. I like the variety in your series. By the way, your header quilt is smashing! Either you've changed recently or I've just been blind!
    best, nadia

  9. These look great. I bought a book recently on inchies but haven't attempted to make any yet, but I like your idea of doing them on a theme!

  10. So wonderful heart inchies. I am enjoying them. I can feel you fun, making them.
