This was my output for Christmas 2004! I USED to bake for WEEKS and weeks once upon a time . Then, old age and diabetes set in and here is my Christmas baking for this year...
That is IT! I MAY make some shortbread or my Gran's Ice Box cookies- but nobody is going to gat fat at MY house on MY watch this Christmas!

I'm with you!!!
ReplyDeleteI haven't done any baking at all this year. There will be mince pies (because I have bought pastry - I'll be damned forever!) and MAYBE a chocolate roulade for new year. But that's it.
ReplyDeleteI do the same now...the kids are on their own; and if I bake it; I eat it!! lol. I may make shortbread..not sure yet. I will have pies for Christmas dinner....that's about it,
ReplyDeleteThose of 2004 are fabulous, indeed. In our house DH is baking - he wants to so I let him - I can do other things instead.
ReplyDeleteYour bakery of this year is certainly also very good to eat. I would love to try.
Chocolate chip brownies are my family's favorites. I even have to send a box up to my son in Boise.
ReplyDeleteYou have a better handle on this Christmas baking stuff than I do: I decided to not bake much, and then a daughter came last week, baked plenty, and left me the cookies! No of course I have to eat them so she'll be happy. ;-)
